ROMAN, MILOS | 2016 NHL Draft Prospects
Milos Roman Scouting Report: 2018 NHL Draft #68 - Last Word on Hockey
This is a good pick here. This kid has some upside.
He's consistently ranked as an early 3rd so that's good.
Like this pick.
Nice. Smart C, good playmaker. Already played in 2 u20 WJCs (and 2 u18s). Very happy.
I like this pick as a Giants STH. He dropped because of his injury. Smart player with good upside. He’s going to have a large role next year and you guys should be expecting a nice jump in production (even while losing teammates Ronning and Benson).
Reading up on him he sounds like Byron. Can't wait to hit up Dev Camp and see him live.
Nice pick, I like that Calgary went ahead and got the pick to take the guy they wanted.
Just Byron? He must be a bust then. Just trying to normalize your evaluation LOL
What was the trade that got Calgary this pick? I missed it during the 520s and quantum leaps yesterday.
From the "Picks Only Trades" post in the Trade forum: "[CGY/MTL] 122 for CGY '19 4th"
So 4th next year for late 4th this year.
This seems like an excellent pick for how late it is in the draft.
Seemed like the first round of the draft to me
FWIW I believe we had 2 4th's next year, so we still got on left for next draft.
I remember he had a great WJC. I like him more than Ruzicka. Less of a ceiling, but much more well rounded IMO.
I watched a lot of Slovakia games last year and he was definitely notable.
Milos and Pospisil?! Just picking up all the Canadian tennis players
Ditto. I can’t say I remember a lot of details about him, but I remember he stuck out in a good way. I think this player could be a good 3C for us.
Any word on Roman being signed or does he become a free agent?
Pretty meh stats in juniors this year.
I doubt we sign him.
The Flames opted not to sign him. He is now a free agent.
Well that isn't very cash money. His lack of progression last season and this one really hurt his stock.
