He'd definitely be riding the bench on the Stars/Canucks so I highly doubt it. I think he retires tbh

Honestly I was thinking this one. He'd be a nice replacement for Sheahan, and would knock Haas and Khaira out of the go-to defensive centre role, something I'm not sure either is ready for.
