Think about how many threads there have been about Richards with no details. Imagine what's going to happen when the truth comes out.

Mike Richards Thread, Year 2071: Great-grandkids speak out; great-grandfather was detained at the border because CBSA didn't like the way Arnold was growling at them

Yeah but the Richards thread has evolved over the years since it first popped up. The Kovalchuk thread was one off-season's worth of crazy town.

 Or people will still bring him up 20 years later like Leafs fans bring up 93.

This may make a great book someday. A dark, sad, depressing great book.

Mike Richards career as a King touches so many genres. The first year could be a feel good story about a hard working kid from a small town who won a championship in the big city. The last two seasons of watching Richards play hockey would clearly fall into comedy. And the last month or so is simply a tragedy.

He's gonna prove everybody wrong when he wins that fishing championship.

It is a hell of a story one way or another.

Theo Fleury has a book (or 2?) out now about the demons he fought, too. Could see Richards going that route too.

Dean has promised to write a book someday. That should be a great read for all Kings fans.
