What's the NHL record for most goals scored on a single five minute major? I'm going to guess it's higher than four, but that's still an impressive feat, which my boys accomplished last night against the Penguins.

Most amazing is that Pandolfo was assessed a 2 minute minor at the time too. So, it was a three minute powerplay in which my Canucks scored four goals.

Period 1
1. CANUCKS, DEVEREAUX 6 (SLEGR, VIGIER) (PP), 03:33
2. CANUCKS, PECA 12 (ROBITAILLE, ZHITNIK) (PP), 04:41
3. CANUCKS, ROBITAILLE 15 (KOROLYUK, ZHITNIK) (PP), 04:55
4. CANUCKS, STAAL 14 (MURRAY, SILLINGER) (PP), 05:37
5. CANUCKS, KOROLYUK 11 (SLEGR, ZHITNIK), 08:44

PENALTIES: J. PANDOLFO VAN (ROUGHING, Minor) 01:20, M. COMMODORE PIT (HIGHSTICKING, Major) 01:20, M. ERAT PIT (BOARDING, Minor) 18:43

Also, my deepest condolences to Manny Fernandez. His stats this year may never recover from giving up five goals on ten shots in just over eight minutes.

Furthermore, somehow this team of defensive forwards and soon to be former NHLers now is tied for #1 in powerplay, and is comfortably ranked #1 in penalty kill.

And, that's about the best news I can give about the Canucks.
