The way I see this playing out is one of 2 ways:

1) Dubas truly believes this team has very few flaws and fires Babcock to light a fire under the team.

2) Dubas realizes flaws on the backend and makes a trade from a position of strength (winger like Kappy or Mango) for a decent defender with some edge.

I know the Leafs have been a .500 team since the hot start in 2017-18. I’m really starting think about a coaching change is necessary. You can’t trade all the players and most are locked into very large sums. :/
