This is a thread?
This blows for the wild... hopefully this doesn't affect them as much in the standings.
Damn, at a crucial time in the season too.

Plus two weeks makes it August 31st. Even with a week setback, he still gets to training camp on September 7th. That would leave 4 weeks before the first game.
It's a non-story unless it aggravates a lot.
Thoughts and prayers to Granlund during this hard time
I once rolled my ankle. Took like 2 months to heal. It's amazing how fast NHL players get back. What a warrior!
He should not have been running in Finland on crutches. Maybe in Sweden you can get away with it, but not in Finland. I hope he mends quickly and has learned a lesson.
anyone know how this is going to affect the scoreboard in summer training standings?
Heartbreaking loss, hopefully he recovers before 2018-19 season
I don't think some of you guys realize the severity of the situation and the impact that this will have on the team. They're going to have to re-do the entire lockerroom stall assignments should he need more room for his crutches at the start of camp. With little space to accommodate him, Dumba may be forced out into the hallway where Nordy keeps his equipment, therefore pushing Nordy to share a dressing room with the referees. This will upset Nordy, which will interfere with his ability to bang on his drum when in the stands. There will be no chants...no cheers...no "Let's Go Wild!" without our mascot leading us. As a result, the team will be dejected. They'll be lost. They'll be confused. And will have no choice but to forfeit. It's maddening!
Except, he resumes full training in two weeks, he won't be in the lockerroom until well after... so even the sarcasm is falling flat on this one...
This has to be one of the biggest non-relevant news threads ever.
Not if I can help it.
Hopefully he's not rushed back
The Wild are finnished now
I once did as well, and this was at a time when I was kind of anti-doctors so I ended up hopping home with one leg(about 1 and a half miles). Super swollen and couldn't put any weight on it. It did heal really fast in the end, though.
So we talkin' training schedule
LOL so he'll be back when August is done.
