It'll all come down ultimately to how much he produces. Right now, he has all he could ever ask for in terms of linemates, icetime, prime utilization. If he can't maximize his point totals in this setting, then that'd be a red flag. I'm expecting 60+ points from him if he is playing this role all season. And that's worth $7M per in this day and age. If he can't produce at that level despite the opportunity he is getting... his price would naturally drop.
