If we are moving forward with guys like Bowey, it would be an incredibly bad sign imo.

Over the last month, I think Bowey has outperformed Hronek.
Which isn't to demean Hronek, who's been up and down, but to give some credit to Bowey, who's also been up and down.

Since Dec. 15
Bowey 13 games 2-4-6 +1 all points at ES.
Hronek 2-7-9 -9 3 powerplay assists.

Granted, Hronek has tougher assignments.

Yeah few things stood out to me.

1. Repeated mention of Laf's late bday. I do wonder if we could see a Byfield stunner if we get #1.

Not sure why the late birthday is such an issue considering his stats from last season....

I think positional needs are more of a concern than the kid being a few months older, this team really needs a 1C so Larkin can drop down to 2C. So I wouldn't be upset with Byfield. The only thing that would upset me is getting stuck with the #4 pick.
