Going off the board with Pilut but it looks like I'm not alone. Wouldn't be surprised if 4-8 are all Swedes

This is a tough one since we're really starting to get into the unknowns here. A lot of these kids could be great but it's hard to judge them against each other. I'll take the safe pick in Nylander as much as I know I'm probably wrong.

Nylander based on upside. Otherwise I think Asplund is a safe lock to be a solid NHLer.

For most of these I think I've voted that way but after being disappointed by grigorenko, armia, even fasching I think I'm just going to go with my gut this year.

I really like Davidsson's game based on highlights. Went with him.

Thompson. Already has NHL experience, is one of the few forwards we have in the entire system that has size and strength (not saying he is a power forward but he uses his size effectively along the boards ) . Nylander after him and then Asplund. It's hard to put a prospect projected as a 3C ahead of recent first round draftees who project as 20+ goal top 6 wingers.

Regardless, we have an elite prospect pool once again and when you factor in the fact we are adding 4 1st round picks the next 2 years to our pipeline and we have one of the brightest futures in the entire league.

I can't believe it didn't cross your mind that the OP simply forgot. Like that wasn't a completely logical and more likely possibility
Forgot? Yeah sure.. Ullmark if he's not in your top 5 should be in your top 10 yet OP can remember Linus Weissbach and Ivan Chukarov.

I like Asplund a lot. But, I have to hear a case that he is above Davidsson. More NHL ready?

E: I just see Davidsson as younger with the same accomplishments and better scoring ability :allears:

They are very similar prospects... and Asplund's development from D+1 to D+2 is a differentiating factor at this point in time.

The doghouse
What a sham. The bias is so real especially the names on there over Ullmark.

Joke rankings.

Can we amend the board rules to have stuff like this be violations? There’s so much of this (1) unwarranted assitry and (2) conspiracy nonsense around here lately.

Anyways, Nylander for the time being!

Ullmark is 25. I would have not included him in this ranking anyway. But seriously, cut the crap dude.

Nylander over Thompson? uhh

Could be putting more weight into ceiling than likelihood. Nylander has top line potential, Thompson seems like more of a 2nd line scorer.
