I heard hot-shot rookie Michael Ryder has a brother playing in the OHL. Does anybody have any info on him? Is he eligible for the draft this year?

Daniel Ryder is a Bonavista native who was selected in the first round of the OHL Draft earlier this season. He played in the U17's and was IMO the best forward on Team Atlantic. He is eligible for the 2005 draft

He's suppose to be much more talented then his brother. From what i've heard he doesn't completely play the same kind of game as he does more finesse play then Micheal

He does play with a lot of heart, he reminds of of Marc Savard with more defensive awareness, little Ryder has all the talent to go top 10 next year.

Then there is the Gens pick Justin Wallingford *sighs* why didnt we take Ryder.

I'm from Newfoundland, now living in Alberta. Young Ryder has more finesse than his older brother. He should go somewhere in the first two rounds in 2005. He doesn't hit, but scoring and play making is his game.
