Pretty amazing if they pull it off with a decent degree of success (being a free event dosen't hurt). I don't really think NBC is any more interested in involving Southern teams than they are of involving Canadian teams, though - ratings would be terrible. It really sucks but I think so long as NBC has the reins on the WC you're going to see the same 8-10 teams being involved. Hell, rumors are already starting up that Philly is going to host the next Classic, they've been involved in one even more recently than Pittsburgh.
