If this were a movie script, the gong show Thursday night would have been the last straw for Fred and Saul Katz to tell Jeffy to sod off, now we're selling to this guy you can't stand.

More realistically this was a realization that A-Rod wasn't going to get five hundred more guys to invest to outbid Cohen in a non-crooked sale process.
