Once you fail the 2nd test you stop, at least you can still have a job, even if you become a little worse at it.

Why would you ever keep doing it and risk completely losing your career :facepalm:

According to CBS Sports last year's suspension cost Mejia most of his $ 2.595 million deal and now he will lose all of the $ 2.47 million he was due to make this year. The kicker - he had only earned $ 1.13 million prior to his 2015 suspension. :shakehead

I like people going "how can he be so dumb" as if players take PEDs for the lulz. He probably wouldn't be good enough for the majors without using PED so no matter the risk he's gotta keep using them if he wants to make major league money.

Mejia was very well regarded in the Mets organization and was extremely mismanaged. He was fine.
