Pretty much. A terrible defense. Horrid PK, useless powerplay. Can't win any faceoffs, goalie that struggled. Offense that struggles to make a pass. None of these things are exclusive to facing the Penguins where you can just say "they have our number". It's been things that have plagued this team all season long. Kudos on the Penguins for taking advantage of it. They're hardly the only team that would.
Yeah, Penguins are good but the Rangers have just played badly this year.

Not Moore' fault there tbh, his best chance to get the puck in the net was to kick it.

Good defensive play there.

I agree, but all they have to do is win one road game, and its back here for Game 6. The doubt seed will loom LARGE.

Ha! The Rangers are home now and getting blown out after not showing up last home game. How does getting it back to the garden help them at all? They are rolling over and dying. No winning game 5.

And they have been absolute garbage here for 1 1/2 games, so I'm not overly optimistic.

They can win in Pittsburgh.

The hardest game to win is the one where you have to close a team out. Pens will have to do that in 5. Not the easiest thing when the other team on the road has everything to lose.

We don't even have an offseason to look forward to. We have no 1st round pick, no more assets to trade away or cap space to make improvements.

We're on the decline while mostly every other team is loaded with high end young talent. Even the Hurricanes are going to be better than us next year. And the Flyers, it's crazy how Ghostbae was basically their lowest ranked prospect entering the season..

Unless the organization makes some shrewd moves to retool this team, we are looking at a long dry spell until they replenish with younger talent. Given the recent history of the organization...we are ****ed!

nevesis, look, outside of the first quarter of the season, Hank has not been all that great. He's been downright bad at times. Sorry, he is regressing, and on a team which is in the end of their window, it shows. I'm fine with looking to trade him to a contending team and giving him a chance to win.
