A lot of good things, but overall I don’t think this was enough to beat Pittsburgh right now.
You need a really strong game from everyone.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We did a terrible job of getting through the neutral zone.
That exactly is the reason why we didn’t get a single look in the whole 3rd period.
- Derek Stepan

Our biggest issue was we couldn’t make any plays with the puck.
Whether it be breaking out of our end, going through the neutral zone, or once we got in their end we just didn’t make enough plays.
We have to give them credit that was a real solid defensive performance. We didn’t get a lot done, and we have to get back to work.
- Alain Vigneault

AV says there are some lineup decisions to be made for tonight both among forwards and d-men. Hayes could be involved in this.

I'd say bench Boyle and put McIlrath back in, but Brady Skjei on the right-side is an ultra-tragedy. If McD-Staal-Yandle are all playing, Skjei shouldn't be in the lineup.

McD - Klein
Yandle - McIlrath
Staal - Boyle

Again:

Hayes out, Glass out.

Hrivik and Lindberg in.

Stalberg to the 3rd line. Fast to the 4th.

top6
Staal Lindberg Stalberg
Hrivik Moore Fast

Boyle out, Wrath in.

McD Klein
Yandle Wrath
Staal Skjei

If people aren't happy with Skjei playing right, then leave Boyle in. What to do with the defense is less clear, but the bottom six is a ****ing NO BRAINER.

What's the new argument for Glass staying in the line-up? The entire team has been physical and throwing BIG hits. What does Glass bring that the rest of this squad cannot now that they've shown they can be physical?

It's a joke, what a complete and total line of ********.

The winner of this game wins the series. Rangers have proven their resiliency late in games 5-7 (mainly Lundqvist and Brassard ability to take over games) and the Penguins are mental midgets. The Penguins also have trouble closing series out at home. That said, I don't see the Rangers over coming a 3-1 series deficit. They win tonight, they'll win in 6 or 7. They lose tonight, it's over in game 6.

Maybe this will help you make some sense of it

Since Glass is not expected to have anything to do with any of that, he is immune from having to do any of that, and it helps the other Rangers accomplish doing that knowing Glass does not have anything to do with that.

Man do I have to explain everything around here.

Love all the ideas.
