Only projected 2 goalies because I have zero clue how to project them compared to Forwards/Dmen.

Don't kill me too much, folks.

    Rossi Just #7?
u know who wins the OHL scoring Race, and probably the CHL Scoring race?

He is a Top 5 for sure and no one would be surprised now, he end up on #3.

Can't see Ottawa passing on Stutzle at all and Drysdale would be too tempting at 4. Don't see Holtz in the top 5

Thanks for the feedback. I tried to fit how teams draft so that's why things look the way they do. I'm with you on almost everything. Holtz is dynamic though. The forwards after AL and Byfield could go in any order. Gonna be a fun one to watch. Just took my shot because I couldn't find a mock draft worth a damn online. Figured I'd try to spark some conversation to see how it ends up.

Rossi could fall anywhere from 3 to 7. This draft is stupid deep at forward. It's all about team preference.

Nice work...however I will say that I would be blown away if the Habs draft Askarov there.

I hope the Canadiens don't take a goalie this high in draft. I would trade down and pick Bourque. He is underrated. Cormier I like also. But Timmins does have a history taking goalies high

Timmins has a history of doing this. If he is high on him. I would rather trade the pick than pick a goalie.

Funny the sharks load up on germans here. No idea why we would take Peterka over Reichel first though. Reichel is clearly the better player right now

Not sure it's that simple tbh. Peterka has helium and he's rated higher on all 3 ratings that Elite Prospects uses (14, 49, 35 vs 20, 51, 36). Nothing "clear" about it.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure where to go with you guys. If I had to redo the pick, I probably take Jake Sanderson there.

    It'll actually be:

    1. LA - Lafreniere
    2. NYR - Byfield
    3. Chicago - Stutzle
4/5/6. Detroit, Ottawa, Ottawa - the swedes and Drysdale

Not to bad. Can't see Stutzle falling that far, he likely goes top 5. Sens likely won't pass on him. Also can't see a Montreal who has Price locked up long term and a great young prospect in Primeau just breaking into the AHL taking a goalie that high.

Stutzle will go #2. Byfield's second half hasn't wowed. Montreal aren't picking a goalie.

As a Devils fan I rather take Sanderson with our 2nd 1st and Holloway with our next pick. Holloway can play wind and we can sure use his size and smarts. Some scouts consider Sanderson the 2nd best defensemen who has some blemishes and needs another season in juniors and probably some time in the AHL.

Ottawa is going to take 2 of Rossi, Perfetti or Drysdale,

I can’t see Holtz cracking the top 5

Holloway is exactly around where I think he ends up

Jarvis is going to be a late teens early 20’s pick

I am curious as to your exclusion of Carter Savoie in the second tho

I like Askarov, but hard to skip over Lundell. Wouldn’t mind between those two for the Habs.

Because those people are basing his performance of the WJC. Peterka has been terrible in the DEL since mid January, while Reichel looks like he belongs there without a doubt. Peterka belongs nowhere near the first, and I’d question if he should even be in the top 50. Also, Jarvis is going to be a top 20 pick based on stats alone.
