Where's that gif of McLeod mocking Roussell as he skates to the bench from last year? These two do not like each other.

Roussel has 34 fights in the NHL so you may want to back peddle on that invalid statement.

Maybe tough guy Roussel shouldn't be going after guys like Barrie? He had it coming and then some and the way he rolled around the ice after that was even more pathetic.

It would have been more interesting if Roussel hadn't tripped on his own stick and lost his balance before McLeod had landed a single punch.

Isn't Roussel a much better hockey player than McLeod? Granted Roussel is an agitator but doesn't he fight guys even when over-matched? From the posts it seems like some fans think Roussel is a Max Lapierre kind of guy which he clearly is not.

There was a clear slip on the stick an he was never able to settle in and throw because mcleod kept throwing. Was kinda a meh fight one guy slips on a stick gets hit a few times gets one or two sneaky ones in and fight over....
Yeah he fights guys out of his class, if they are already tied up ( justin braun) if they have a jaw injury ( getzlaf) or if he gets to agree to a fight by crosschecking a guy in the throat ( mcquaid).
Oh and he has no problem running goalies at all, like big obvious runs.
He's a veritable stand up guy unless hes flopping on the ice like a carp to either save himself or to try and draw a penalty.

Not that bad for a guy playing sometimes on our 2d line and who has been named in the IIHF WorldChampionships Allstars Team last year...
iihf all star ! wow ! what credentials ! I would imagine that in an environment where the chances of someone doing what mcleod did ( or my favorite, tough guy ron hainsey) is so low, that he must be uber-ratty.
The guy is a punk and what's worse, he's a spot picking punk. And what McLeod fed him, he better get used to it because it wont be the last time.
and guess what, no one is gonna cry a tear for a goalie running situationally selective tough guy.

Do you deny he threw at a tied up defenseless Justin Braun or that it was all smoke and mirrors when he accepted an invitation from McQuaid by CROSSCHECKING him in the throat? Or how he has no problem getting all handsy with Getzlaf, so long as Getz has an injure jaw?
He's the leagues worst spot picker and the abject embellishments he routinely performs are an embarassment to the league. If you think hes great because hes a bonafide Iihf allstar that speaks more to you than him.
