Do we know who Hes looking at

Quick answer? No. But we can try to deduce.

Rochester has a 6-3 record, but Buffalo is atrocious, so it could be players on that team as Buffalo looks for help. Thing is, it's hard to imagine Tallon being too interested in anyone on that team except McNabb or Varone, and harder still to imagine it's Varone, whereas I don't see Buffalo wanting to move McNabb right now. Also have to keep in mind both are older than most prospects and still playing in the AHL (Varone doesn't appear to have been drafted, signed with them last year), and neither have been called up despite Buffalo isn't doing well. But then again maybe Tallon's there to see if he can see something in them Buffalo's scouts don't.

Buffalo also fired their coach and rehired Ted Nolan today, so who knows if they're making moves just yet.

Hamilton has a sub-.500 record right now and Montreal has a similar record (just below .500). They're also out of the playoff picture early on but really close. They could be looking to make a move to help out. So Hamilton has a number of players not good enough for Montreal but could be good enough for the Panthers. Whom exactly Tallon would be scouting is anyone's guess. Panthers need help on offense, defense, and possibly goaltending.

That was a bad game. It happens. Last night he was fantastic and none of the Kulikov bashers give him any credit. They're not fair in their assessment.

Agree with you, the bashers are quick to bash, slow to give credit. He played a great game and hopefully he can keep the mistakes to a minimum. He is one of the few defensemen we have that can carry the puck out of the zone or pinches in somewhat effectively. If he learns to use his wrister more than his slapshot I think we could see a great improvement in his point production.

Kulikov was our best d-man last season. Weaver was horrible the 1st half of the season.

This season, Kuli has not been our best but he's not our worst either. I don't care what Corsi says. There's no way he's been worse than Whitney or even Gilroy and Gilbert. He gets a lot more ice time than the first two also, so that's a factor.

Campbell has not been that great. He's been pretty bad defensively and there's a way for Corsi to not reflect that. All it takes is one bad play on defense. There's been times where he's been a pylon. He piles up points and he sustains pressure in the offensive zone when we have the puck, that's what saves him. Weaver has probably been our best d-man this season.
