There was talk of Veleno traveling with Zadina, but that obviously fell through. Never heard the reason he didn't go to Europe.

Damn, was really hoping to see him. Not much ever seen him play.

Nothing to watch at HPK without him. No prospects etc.

At least Kärpät has Blomqvist in goal (2020 draftee, ranked 2nd mostly after Askarov of this class), also interesting to see where Puljujärvi goes. Is he still dominating like at pre-season.

Larsson is already with Almtuna alongside Lindström.
5 GA in Sweden's second tier league. Did this kid peak at Denver? Still can't complain for a 6th round pick.

It is telling, however, that the guy playing 16 games for the DRW and receiving mild praise as a stay-at-home, no-nonsense d-man isn't in SHL. Basically playing in the Swedish AHL. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah just saw it, got Eliasson and Larsson mixed up. Eliasson got loaned out to Karlskroga. Hope Veleno and Rasmussen also get loaned out
Rasmussen was sent to Austria last month. He's playing in the ICEHL.

It's because Lindstrom will be fighting for a job in Detroit when the NHL season starts. SHL clubs overall aren't very excited about bringing in players part-time.

He won't be fighting for much if he keeps giving up 5 a night.

It's an interesting team choice especially for a young kid as they have zero foreigners on the roster other than him and it's a smaller city. HPK added two very experienced guys this summer in Ville Koistinen and Petri Kontiola, hopefully they can mentor him on and off the ice.
Well, there's always vodka and fish pie. Will be a good experience for the young kid.

If McIsaac can’t get a good run with injuries he’s going to find himself slipping into irrelevance rather quickly. I really like him too, so hopefully it doesn’t happen.

Looking through the ICEHL stats on EP there doesn't even appear to be any up and comers in that league. Ras should be able to dominate, but so far only 1 pt in 2GP and -1. Not a great start, and yes I know it is early.
