Even some MB defenders know that this team has huge holes. Yet they think it will be possible to address them all in one off-season, even though he has yet to figure out the center position for 5, going on 6 off-seasons.

Well, he's saying that every year and we somehow manage to finish above teams he describes as better than us. "Name me one player on Canadiens roster that's like Markus Foligno". Clown.

If we use the money we would have given Radulov to sign Thornton it won't matter. Key is getting a center.

Extending Radulov would be amazing. However, Habs don't need a Top-6 RW even if he leaves. They have Drouin, Galchenyuk, Lehkonen, and Gallagher.

This is the thing we've been debating in so many other threads.

Bergevin-proponents are urging to wait and see. Wait til next week. One post suggested to wait for 3 months. They would have a point if there weren't so much to accomplish.

Reality is these kinds of moves require great pro scouting, timing, luck and yes, more than a few weeks.

If Bergevin pulls this off somehow, then he'll get the props that he will have deserved. He did surprise several of us with Drouin. That'll be one tough act to follow.
