I don't know what fight you were watching, but McGratton hardly pounded Janssen. I would still give him the win, but it was a far cry from a pounding and Cam actually had a really good showing, considering the size mismatch. At the end, Cam caught him with a solid shot as well.

Yeah... based on the thread title, methinks the OP lives in Tennessee. ;)

McGrattan took the first half of the bout easily, connecting on a bunch of punches. But Janssen hung in there and had the better of McGrattan for the 2nd half, imo.

Not taking anything from McGrattan: he deserves the win, but Janssen made it far more of a fight that it looked like he would initially.

that's how i saw it as well... pretty close, mcgratton gets the slight win but given his size advantage; pretty embarrassing showing.

I like the part where his team was up 2-0 and he had NO reason to start a fight. The part where his back was turned to the play the entire time even though Nashville was in the offensive zone. And the part where he stopped play with a whistle even though his team had a good shot at starting a forecheck.

Jesus does the guy even try to play Hockey? #jokeofaplayer

Love both them guys as players and boy did they give us a show. The league needs more of them.

Id say janssen landed the better shots lol, mcGratten got lazy

Throw 10 haymakers in 30 seconds, now add skates, horrible balance, controling player with other hand and a slippery surface to the equation. Fighting wears you the **** out lol. Mcgratton just got gassed. Bam Bam's signature move is taking pucnes in the face until the opponent gets tired then he flails away.

Also like to point out that Bam Bam has the best endurance in the league.

Janssen is a marathon guy who goes right to the end and always puts up a good fight. McGrattin landed a few good shots right off the get go, but Cam went the distance and landed some nice ones. No clear cut win here, but Brian takes it.

Normal Cam fight. He always takes a lot of punches early then comes back in the end to land some shots. If Cam was a bigger guy he would be a beast with his endurance and heart.

What are you talking about. Watch the beginning of the video above. Janssen comes at him after the face-off and he ignores it until jannsen comes at him again. Clearly janssen was the aggressor in starting something up and mcgratten obliged

An awesome fight, I was actually there to see it. My 2 cents: McGrattan couldnt even finish off Janssen even though he has huge size advantage. Janssen did almost as good as a guy his size can do in a fight like this. McGrattan wins, of course, but Cam got the job done and started a rally to victory.

I was also there. McGratton was manhandling him until he got tired. The refs had no interest in stopping the fight even though McGratton was laughing and they both looked lazy/tired. Janssen did make a comeback but normally fights are already stopped by the time he decided to throw anything.

I give the win to Grattan but far from pounding.
