Crosby has kept up production for almost 20 years.

I highly doubt that in the best years of his career, he wouldn't have continued producing.

We can say "what if"...

Lol, no. It's literally a what if. there's no guarantee he would have kept the pace. You can say it would have been likely, but to say he would have for sure is fantasyland stuff.
