Making playoffs is a team game. McDavid won two scoring titles in three years. Same amount Crosby winning 13. Also McDavid did it going against a Crosby. Crosby never had McDavid to go against untill the last three years which McDavid was clearly better.

I'd actually have to say Crosby. Points aren't everything and I feel like he was just a more complete and better all around player.

McDavid right now is better defensively then Crosby EVER was. It is a huge misconception that Crosby was some defensive beast, he never was/is.

I was about to say this. People tend to ignore the difference in power plays and scoring. For instance, in Crosby's second season, over half of his points were scored on the power play and there were almost double the amount of power plays than there were in McDavid's second season.

McDavid is the better player, at the same stage.
