Two weeks ago, Willman was shut down for the season with a broken hand. He finished the year with: 27 GP, 2 G , 6A, 10 PIM, -15, 53 SOG.
Funny to hear Lambert jokingly refer to Max as looking "like a young Wayne Gretzky" in the three-on-three.
Must have missed that. The outrage.
Usually a player's rights are held as long as he remains in college.Assuming we still lose his right on 8/2018? Would have really liked to see him in Rochester.
If Willman played for 4 years at Brown, how can he play at BU next season? Isn’t his eligibility over?
Wasn't sure if there is a cutoff in terms of number of games played, for the season not to count against your eligibility.Wasn't a full season?

Looks like a player's eligible for a medical redshirt if he played in 30% or fewer of the team's games. Willman played in 9 of 31 games.Wasn't sure if there is a cutoff in terms of number of games played, for the season not to count against your eligibility.

Yep, off to BU.
I read somewhere yesterday that Tkachuk was returning to BU next year and so they rescinded Willman's deal. It wasn't an official post, just hearsay.
