@SabresProspects - Thought to be done for the year two weeks ago, Max Willman ended up playing last weekend and now scores on Jason Kasdorf.

Max Willman tied the game for Brown at one at 2:57 in the second period.
The sophomore blasted a shot from the right circle that slipped through traffic and past Jason Kasdorf for his third of the season.
Charlie Corcoran and Max Gottlieb picked up assists on the play.

Funny to hear Lambert jokingly refer to Max as looking "like a young Wayne Gretzky" in the three-on-three.

I've gotta give it to him, he was really impressive in the 3on3, seemed to be everywhere on the ice. Good AHL player with some upside.

Brown isn't underway until the end of the month. I'm still very interested in what sort of season he can string together after his showings in the prospect camps.

If he finds another school, we keep him, otherwise, he's gone August 15 unless we sign him? Would we?

I always liked the kid in prospect camp.

If we were to sign him, an ATO/AHL contract seems more appropriate than an ELC. I see no reason why the best thing for everyone wouldn't be him playing another NCAA season, though.

If Willman played for 4 years at Brown, how can he play at BU next season? Isn’t his eligibility over?

Wasn't sure if there is a cutoff in terms of number of games played, for the season not to count against your eligibility.

There is probably some and see a regulation on games played versus eligibility. I’m not sure what it is, I have a hard enough time paying attention to the CBA for the pros.

I only brought up Willman because the main board has him as one of our UFA's come August 15. But they probably don't know about him looking for another year.
