When Domi is on his game and in control of his emotions, he's a very effective blend of skill and sandpaper with an edge to his game and a chip on his shoulder.

I think Domi can be better as the top guy on his line, whereas Toffoli is better as a complementary piece. Domi isn't good enough defensively to be an ideal center though (which apparently he wants to play) and you probably want a better player as the line driver in your top 6. So I'd say Domi might be better in a vacuum or on middle or the pack or lower teams, but Toffoli is probably more valuable to most contenders.

Domi has no sandpaper, he's a solid fighter and chirps but plays with no physical edge.

If forced to pick, I think Domi is slightly better, but they are both players I wouldn’t want on my team, unless it’s an ELC.

Toffoli ain't going to be winning the Selke any time soon but is less of a liability out there. He has my vote.

Domi had a really bad year but at his best he's so much better than Toffoli I'd still pick him.
