He's been just fine. Tonight was bad for everyone except Price.

Just fine is not comparable to the very hot start he had. He's produced twice as less over the past 11 years compared to the 11 prior. His performance has definitely dipped down.

If Price ever plays for another team with a solid D, Price looks better than ever. Roy x2

Domi is just replicating his rookie year. Burning hot start, then much cooler rest of the season.

We'll see, but he might be the next Brian Savage.

Sure, but that was to be expected. No one thought he'd continue at a 144 point pace or whatever it was.

Yesterday aside since no one was good, he's still making plays and setting up linemates. Unfortunately, both he and Drouin seem to be on a cold streak at the same time. It happens.

He's playing now like his reputation is though. His hot start is more the anomaly if we look at his career.
That said, still too early, hopefully he can bounce back up.

Maybe he IS Brian Savage, and that’s why he no longer has time to post on HF :sarcasm:

You guys need to chill out, as wise man Carey once said. Teams always tigthen their defence as seasons progress, there are going tonbe less mistakes inbthe second half, less goal scored, and so on. Ovy won’t score 75 and Rantanen won’t put up 135 points. Domi will be fine.

Drouin has 8 points last 9 games.
Domi 6 points last 7 games.

I guess everyone expect them to score 100 points ?

I haven't even watched a game this year. I'm cannot be riled up that way.

But Max Domi has NEVER produced like an elite forward over a full season; 70 to 80 pts. But he has Mr. October'd before.

I'm honestly far more concerned with their play without the puck. That line has been a complete tire fire for a while now and rarely give us 60 minutes of decent hockey.

Is it fair to say thou, that unless your mcjesus... no player will ever give a solid 60 mins of hockey unless its a goalie standing on his head?
