Both Max and Griffin Reinhart are unrestricted free agents right now.

Would there be any room in Utica for them? Bring the family back home sort of thing? I saw Griffin play when he was with the Bakersfield Condors. As a 25 year old defenseman there could still be some potential there.

Max Reinhart didn't even play in 18-19 and his career looks to be over.

Griffin is a bust but he's a solid AHL defender who could help in Utica, where they are very short on veteran defenders. Would have no issues giving him an AHL deal there.

For Utica absolutely. This is the types of advantages a team in Abbotsford would bring to the table. Lots of local boys probably.

Not sure if thats better than having less travel and more practice for our draft picks. See what happens with Seattle

This caliber of player isn’t exactly in a position to get choosey about the location of the AHL team that offers them a deal.

Both are mega busts that can't skate. Big time pass

That's not quite fair for Max. His career went the way like most 3rd round picks go. There was a time when he did look like a solid prospect and earned some time on a weak Flames team. He just never took the next step and regressed.
