Hope the Habs bring him in for the next camp and give him a serious look. He is the same age as Boqvist (edit, actually 4 months older), whom the Hawks have been playing as their #1 PPQB since midway through the season.

I don't think he can, he just signed a 2 year with Frolunda and if i recall there's no NHL clause and a pretty significant penalty.

you don't need an NHL clause since there's a PTA in place with Sweden. Now things are different for this training camp due to covid as the NHL is considering not allowing any players that play in Euro leagues to play in the NHL next season. That is not official yet though.

it's not a rule yet, the NHL is supposedly considering it, with this year nothing is set in stone.

I don't see why, if you have a link to that as i would be interested why. Now under the old PTA there was a deadline that I believe was June 30th, in order to bring over a player for the following season. I don't know if they changed that or not.

Thanks for posting this. I'm trying to watch the game while working and every time I hear Norlinder and look at my screen it's too late to make out his number. Now at least, I know to look out for #6
