Enjoy him. He's a really good guy and a good player. His hat trick the year we made the Frozen Four was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Matthew Peca to a two-year, two-way contract for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Additionally, Peca has signed an AHL amateur try out contract to play the remainder of the 2014-15 season with the Syracuse Crunch.

I meant in Syracuse. They've lost Namestnikov for the year, but they're getting Point and Peca down the middle.

Richard/Peca/Point/Angelidis pretty good down the middle. Point played on first line last game with Marchessault and Carter Ashton. There might be some additional moves to the wings as the team also has Martingdale/Lynch/Kunyk and all three have played pretty well for Syracuse. Martingdale is top 6 (before the signings of Peca/Point), Lynch is playing fourth line so maybe relegated back to ECHL, and Kunyk is also a top 6 center.

Will be interesting to see the Friday lines that will include Peca. I'll post tonight's lines later tonight when I watch the game.
