As much as I appreciate Vanek's career here I really hope not. We have too many unnecessarily-retired numbers as it is, especially for a team that has never won anything of importance.

Not a problem. Same number as in New York. Respect to Moulson to let him keep his number. Vanek was great but #26 isn't going up in the rafters anytime soon.

Doesn't he need to retire first? His barely left the building!
