I'm sadly meh about this. I constantly fear that he will regress a lot just the exact year he signs with us.

Partly due to playing a ton of PK time, but TOI leaders for Pitt forwards in cup-clinching game 6:

Cullen: 19:42
Crosby: 17:17

Amazing.

Doubt he does he is playing in the same role he played in Pittsburgh.

Well, he's certainly not progressing at 41 years old. He's a 3rd/4th line player getting paid 1M. Risk can't get much lower.

If he's 50% of what he was the last two years, it's basically what we'd get out of Cal O'Reilly or Ferrario that we would have probably ran instead of him.

Glad to have him back. Should solidify the 4th line, even if he does take a step back. Which, I mean, he's 40 and it's not like Fletch gave him a $5m AAV 6 year deal or something :D

Even more reason for me to root for the Wild. Class act, complete player. He's great for the younger guys as a mentor. Best of luck to him. I hope it's a great year.

One thing for sure, if he's centering Foligno and Stewart he isn't going to get run much.

If he play 60% of the year, had good PK time and pots 8G 10A, I would consider it a successful season for a 4th line center making min money. If you don't take Haula as a 4C, that would probably be the most productive 4C the Wild have ever had with those point totals lol.

This is a really good point. Cullen & Haula play similar roles. Cullen's almost guaranteed to put up (or surpass) Haula-esque numbers, but for almost 2M cheaper.
