Sweet

Yeah MSG was in Norway to shoot a Zucc story, they also found a nice place where houses have grass on the roof. Looks like Zucc got himself a mountain farm :D

Hobbit homes have grass on their roofs too. Coincidence?

That's got to suck though. "Honey, did you mow the roof?"

Mats Zuccarello says that he feels he has become part of the Rangers “core†and that has allowed him to feel “slightly†more comfortable heading into this season. He adds that he feels a responsibility to be one of the Rangers leaders.(TV2)

He said that the Rangers “probably†would have given him a longer-term contract if not for the salary cap and that he can sign a new deal during the season or wait until after the year to become a free agent and sign anywhere. He said that he will control the position he will be in, whether teams will want him or not, based on how he plays this season.*(TV2)

Zuccarello “claims†that there is an “agreement†between he and the organization that he will be the next player to get a long-term deal after he “sacrificed†that this summer to sign a one-year deal and help the team’s salary cap situation.(TV2)

Took a pay cut, and a significant financial risk, for the team. Doesn't wear a letter. Feels a responsibility to be one of the team's leaders.

Love this guy's attitude.

Zooks is my favorite player on the roster; stand up guy with the heart of a lion. I hope he retires a Ranger, he deserves it after getting dicked around by Sather/Torts for 4 years despite always making an impact each and every time he stepped on the ice. He is Theo Fleury minus the incredible shot/drug problems/anger issues

Zucc will definitely retire a Ranger, with a C on his chest. The smallest captain in NHL history ;)

Honestly, is Zucc the most likable/lovable Ranger since Adam Graves?

They better find a way to make him happy.

Honestly, if it looks like Sather is going to blow it, we should set up Salvation Army Stands around the Garden to pay him whatever it takes to remain a Ranger.

Guy makes me smile...Can't wait until he crosschecks- or attempts to crosscheck Brian Boyle next year...you know they will both be laughing...

Was just watching playoff highlights, his pass to Carcillo in gm 7 vs. Philly was the play of the NYR season IMO.

I still think that honor goes to the 6th goal in the Yankee stadium game against the Devils.

Definitely the most likeable Ranger since Graves, the guy stands out because he genuinely wants to be here. He could have cashed in big time this offseason but he stayed, he could have told Sather to eat **** after his first, second and third stints and leave for greener pastures but he didn't. That says A LOT about his character

Why the heck do they drive all the way from Ottawa to NYC?

Those two are really close friends. But that's a good thing for the Rangers, question is who will be the third guy on their line.

Brass is obviously the driver, I hope this goes well ;)

With Hayes coming in, isn't this team getting a bit Heavy on the right side?
Wouldn't mind trading Nash for a proper C if that's possible.

Guys can move around. Zucc can play both wings. Hayes might be a center. St. Louis may or may not be here beyond 14-15. Nash isn't going anywhere, nor should he. And nobody's going to move the proper center you're looking for in exchange for Nash anyway.

You seem very certain. Zuke is much better on the right side btw.
