Here is an article by Dave Stubbs from the Gazette about Mathieu Darche.

Shorter 2013 article in French from Lapresse
Mathieu Darche has a bachelor degree in commerge in marketing and international business from McGill University (2000). He played for the Redmen Hockey team at McGill University. When he was playing for the Habs, he was the player who studied the most. His older brother, Jean-Philippe Darche, who played 6 years for the Seahawks of Seattle also has a bachelor degree in Psychology (1998) and studied 2 years at McGill Medical School. So I guess that studying is a family thing.
I'm happy that he found something he likes doing even though it's not hockey related. You can have more passions than hockey if you are/were a NHL player.
