I doubt he's hurt that bad. When he took the shot he finished his shift no problem. He may miss Minnesota, but I'm betting he won't even miss that

The guy hasn't missed a game until he almost lost his eye. A little limping isn't gonna stop him.

I wouldn't mind him sitting for the night if he's not 100%. I doubt he'd do it if he felt he could play, but I'd rather him be healthy. Could be an opportunity to call up Connolly and give him a look, though.

If there is a game I wouldn't mind Marty sitting out to heal up 100% it would be against the wild. Just saying.

Three games... I won't put much stock in that. Also, we had an extra space on the roster with Pyatt on LTIR, this could mean any number of things. Might just be insurance.

Vinny was injured in the foot last year by Salo early in the year.

Therefore we can CONFIRM that the captain is always out with a foot injury. Vinny > Marty > ???

Looks like they'll sit him as a precaution to make sure he's good to go vs. Boston Saturday. Bolts need to get points vs. the Wild, because it's the Bruins and Chicago after that. And you have to think Chicago's going to want revenge.
