Someone has a link to what have been said??
In an interview he answered:
The coach wasn't there so we won. We played as a team.
EDIT: Interview in Slovak here
what's going on?
.... no formal link... but he dissed Benoit Groulx for... whatever reasons.
Either he dissed the coach and is going back on his statement, or he meant to say "despite the coach not being there, we still won the game because they played as a team".
It seems pretty obvious to me it's the latter. Wouldn't be the first time a foreigner accidentally got his words twisted in the media. Ask Andrej Sekera about the weather in Buffalo, for example.
Lol man, ill care about this guy in a couple of years
Yep. The difference between a 'donc' and a 'mais' in that sentence makes a pretty huge difference. Really doubt Reway would bite the hand that feeds him like that.
Yeah clearly just an accidental interview mistake.
Most probably used the wrong word, still funny though.
Exactly. For those wondering:
'donc' = so
'mais' = but
"The coach wasn't there so we won. We played as a team." (actual quote)
"The coach wasn't there but we won. We played as a team." (what he likely meant)
Or just a bad pronunciation/understanding "so we won" / "though we won"
Trade him for someone worse!!...the Montreal Way!
Trade him for a smaller player!
LMAO we can not have anymore midgets on our team...just think of the team showers...they will always be sticking their nose in everyone's business.
Separate names with a comma.
