Or we shopped Rask hard and he upped his demands when he saw he was going to be a starter.


We probably kicked the tires on signing him to a 4 year 8-9 mil deal and trading Tuukka for cap space and something of value but when he started asking for more and Rask wasn't bringing anything back fans would accept we dumped him.

What? This is probably a good move. It makes his inclusion in the Lucic deal make more sense. Basically a 3 way trade but we got a couple days to find the third team and work out a return.
