Help is on the way.
Yes for a career mid 60 point player who this year is having a career year and may get 70 points. That's Stone contract is interesting, 9.5 on an 8 year.

Are we going to add the same "context" to those numbers as we do to Matthews?Yes for a career mid 60 point player who this year is having a career year and may get 70 points.
I have been on record since we drafted him that he was a franchise player as well as the second best player in his draft. He's so far past Eichel bud.. and that's not even considering the guy's attitude in life and love of hockey.
I hope this guy gets the 'C', he engages in the community and impacts a lot of the lives not just in Toronto but all over NA leaf fans are crazy. He looks after his teammates, battles hard, hits, scores and passes like a beast.. The guy gives credit to everyone and never takes it for himself.
Natural leader... it's too bad he's in a kid body still but I think its likely the reason nobody has been named.

He said that but got caught in the lie. In a rush to answer the always asked toronto born question: "who was your favorite leaf". Given that he was born in 97 its impossible that he ever saw Gilmour play even once since Dougies last season was 02/03.His idol Doug Gilmour
Why did he wear #93 growing up until he hit the nhl? Just because he didn’t get the pleasure of watching him any before he retired doesn’t mean he can’t look up to him. How many kids have idolized Wayne Gretzky long after he has retired. He said that but got caught in the lie. In a rush to answer the always asked toronto born question: "who was your favorite leaf". Muzzin went down the same path after his "I was a leafs fan growing up..." response then dodged the question on favorite player. Just pulling out Potvin off the top of his head.
They all feel like answering a "habs fan" even though Kadri admitted it, would anger the fan base.
