I'm starting to hate that Markov does not have an agent. Agents will coach you in the best decision and let Markov know that if you only want to play for the Habs, you better accept the one year deal and lets got for the Max amount we can. Otherwise, the Habs can't sit back and wait.. this is the problem.

Yes they are. If Markov retires after this season, we lose that cap space for next season. A lot can happen in one season. Habs are 100% correct with offering Markov a one year deal. If Markov wants to be a Habs for life, sign 1 year at a time. If he feels he got a lot left in the tank, sign another contract next year. Why insist on 2 years? Its very bad strategy and he will regret this decision down the road.

That's a bit dishonest, labeling Markov as a PP specialist, if that were the case, Markov wouldn't have spent so much time by Weber's side.
