Stone has been lights out the last week. Sens really struck gold with both him and Hoffman. Most entertaining team to watch right now "ainec", really hope their play carries over into the playoffs.

I noticed I had Forsberg's total SH TOI in place of SH TOI/G, fixed that here.

Stone all the way

Ealier this year some sens fans " Murry's scouting record is terrible...the sens haven't drafted a 20 goal scoring forward since Spezza"

This year Murray drafted 20 goal scoring forwards
Stone, Foligno, Hoffman, Zibanejad

Murray has had 8 drafts. Out of those 8 drafts he has 4 20 goal scoring forwards and one 20 goal scoring defensemen

(i didnt count the obrien draft because thats just when he was hired)

I still see guys like Lazar, Silferberg, Puempel, Prince and Noeson being 20 goal scorers too and maybe pageau

You think that's funny, take a look at feaster's legacy in Calgary.

If you up Stone's PP time - he'll produce more (that seems like the message).

Whereas the non-Sens rookies seem to have received ample PP time earlier and it's more difficult to learn scoring at 5 on 5.

Again, Ottawa was pretty good last year. Calgary and Florida sucked. Gaudreau and Eklund have meant more to turning their teams around.

Disagree. We lost our best forward in Spezza and Stone basically replaced his offence as a rookie. Stone is massively important in Ottawa.

I think he uses the longest blade on the Senators. If not the longest, it's the 2nd longest, I'd have to check.

What made you think he uses a short blade?

EDIT: No idea how to check something like that. Someone will know though.

Because he does look at that thing. Looks like he cuts it in half.Crazy how hes able to steal so many pucks. Skills.

Doesn't make sense though, Foligno was drafted in '06 and O'Brien in '07.
