To Ottawa:

2019 AVS first round pick
2019 AVS Ottawa's first round pick
Ian Cole(cap purposes)

To the Avs:

Mark Stone
Erik Karlsson
(Both signed to long term contracts and the Sens retain a little on both, the Avs might have to add a small asset.)

Because Ottawa hasn't been f***ed over enough yet?

Lmao.

Would you do the Wings 1st in 2019 + another 1st let’s say they acquire at the deadline for a signed Mackinnon + Rantanen?

Other threads have been shut down for less than this. Shut this thing down before it gets ugly.

Take your two best players, sign them long term, trade them with salary retention for a pair of draft picks. Doesn't that just sound like a nice way to cap off this summer?

Drop Karlsson from the proposal and it's pretty reasonable.

Well except for the part about retaining that's not reasonable because it's not possible.

That Sens pick will be high, the Sens get their pick back and they get to start their rebuild.
Whoopie. So for that, they get to sign both Karlsson and Stone long term...then trade those 2 great players AND get the pleasure of retaining on those contracts as well? Gosh....sounds great.

The AVS can add another piece but people here are undervaluing how high the Sens pick can be.

that...and no team would be dumb enough to trade a shot at 1OA, except Ottawa.

Lol...are the Avs adding MaKinnon? You are asking for Ottawa's 2 best players signed long term with retention.....that's brutal.

I'm surely not the only one laughing hysterically at this right?

Couple of things:

It is the Sens, they are going to get bent over for Mark Stone and Erik Karlsson sooner or later, would you rather lose them for nothing or get something in return.

The Sens pick is gonna be high.
