Probably similar to Gaudreau and Arnold two years ago. Once he is done with college season we'll likely sign him (only say likely because he could choose not to sign with us at this point) and then he'll get a game or two.
'Tis a fine question. If they truly want to retain his services going forward, I think the answer has to be yes. They have given just about every college graduate a cup of coffee asap when they find themselves in this situation standings-wise. Hanowski, Agostino, Arnold, Gaudreau... the list goes on.
Depends on how far his team goes. The NCAA final is on the same day as the last Flames game of the regular season so there's chance they won't be able to give him a game to burn off a year of his contract.
