So here is a Lemieux vs Lemieux matchup, namely Mario (Pittsburgh) vs Jocelyn (Chicago)... could that be Stanley Cup 1992 final series? The emblem on Mario's shoulder sort of suggests it, but unfortunately I can't distinguish the specific year...

It's the 1992 SC Finals. The 75th NHL anniversary (1991-92) and Stanley Cup patch on Mario's right shoulder clearly indicates it is. Here is a better image of the Stanley Cup patch that is seen on Mario's jersey.

It's from Game Four of the Final. You can see the blocker in the bottom of the frame. It's a Brian's blocker and belongs to Dominik Hasek and he didn't appear in Game Three.

You are almost right . The patch on Mario's right shoulder is a Pittsburgh Penguins 25th anniversary patch from the same year:

Not to mention, that means of blocker extension down low is a *very* Hasek move .
