his contract isn’t that good but he is playing decent this year I think it would be a good idea for the Wild to sell high on him what do you think they could get?

With his contract being as high as it is, it will be hard to get any value for him. He's one of the only players our fanbase doesn't hate atm, so it would be nice to keep him around considering that lack of return value.

He's gone from being a guy all Wild fans want the GM to get rid of to being one we don't mind keeping, thanks to a combination of factors (him playing better, our team being worse, no more salary cap crunch). That said, his contract is expensive for what he brings to the ice, and there's still term on it. I doubt anyone gives anything of real value for him, so there's no real point in trading him from the Wild point of view. For very different reasons than normal, it'd probably require a slight overpay.
