Will the fact he can represent how succesful Vegas was as an expansion-team be the tipping point in making him a HOF lock?

Okay, so now it isn't just that he has never choked, it is that he never had such a bad single game as Luongo's game 3 (funny how you say getting 8 goals by him a night as if he regularly did that in the finals, talk about dishonest).

Fleury has one cup ring as a starter. Yes, winning a cup as a starter is important. Yes, Fleury played a number of games in the 2017 playoffs, but eventually lost the starting job after allowing 4 goals on 9 shots against the Senators in game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, putting the team down 2-1 in the series (a series that eventually went to game 7). Let's not pretend like Fleury is just a "big game goalie" who never has played poorly in important games.
To say "put them down" is a bit misleading. Despite only being 1-1, Fleury had a .966 SV% through the first two games of that series -- they lost 2-1 in OT and won 1-0 in regulation. He had a terrible start of game 3, and at that point everyone knew his run was over because it was the opportunity Sullivan needed to get Murray back in there. Historically, Fleury tends to come back strong after a bad outing like that so who knows how the rest of the series would've went.

I'm not saying he couldn't have won, but he originally lost the starting job and in a very important game 3 he screwed the pooch. I am arguing with someone who acted like Fleury never faltered in big game situations, and cited him having three cup rings despite the fact he was ultimately riding the pine for two of the three.
