Pretty sure EA Sports has updated those overall ratings over the course of the season. Matthews and Marner are both 91's now.

I wanted a bit of a gap between Matthews and Marner. They’re both amazing hockey players but a difference of 1 overall doesn’t do Matthews justice. The only players I’d have above Matthews are MacKinnon (94) and McDavid (96).

Wingers at 92 would be Panarin and Kucherov, who are just slightly above Marner. I think the difference for me is the willingness to shoot. Panarin and Kucherov could give you 70+ assists while also giving you 30+ goals. Marner has that same playmaking ability but less scoring ability.

As for D, Reilly gets an 89 for offence and 83 for defence, so that averages out to 86. Brodie and Muzzin are both better defensively than Reilly but worse than Reilly offensively.
