Mets fan here. No, not at all. What happened to Diaz was a freak accident that didn't occur because of him pitching and could have happened just as easily in a spring training game. I'm a fan of the WBC and found this year's tournament to be compelling top-tier baseball.

Apparently it’s destroying baseball Sal: Rob Manfred, World Baseball Classic ruining Major League Baseball as we know it. Amazing how this tournament is angering boomers.

Count me among those puzzled why the final wasn't on the broadcast network. I mean, if a quarterfinal game can get over 2.5 million viewers, why wouldn't they think to switch the final to the network?

Game gave FS1 huge numbers so I think it makes sense since it's not a network that draws a lot
