Rebuild is drafting low for a few years and picking up elite talent.

Petrovic was absolute trash and then got injured. Spooner was limited to 6 minutes, Manning scratched.

It's going to be tough to win when the opposition is getting bounces and you're not. Add to that Cali reffing, goalies not making the saves when you need them and weak defense...no surprise this game ended up 7-2. Lucic scored though so hopefully that helps him relax and start producing again.

If the Oilers weren't playing 80% of the game in their own zone then maybe the opposition wouldn't get as many bounces.
This team plays the game with a victim mentality....they are just waiting for something bad to happen to them. That is a recipe for losing.

No doubt. Tonight was a lot of crappy bounces as well, but it’s kinda hard to come in night in and night out knowing full well if you make one mistake as a goaltender the team can’t cover you. Our roster is awful. You could put Price, Gibson, Holtby, prime Patrick Roy or 2006 Roloson in our net. It’s not changing much

I have no confidence in Daryl Katz and his decision making. Knowing him, he has that big red headed clown who we see every fricking draft on stage waiting in the wings to take over this team. That's how bent of an owner he really is.
