Due to a point tie for 8th/9th between the Canes and the Pens, our magic # is lowered by 1.

So Montreal can get a max of 111 points, and Carolina and Pitt can each get 112.

However, each team plays each other at least once. Carolina and Pitt play each other twice, while Montreal plays them each once. Montreal can get to 110, and Carolina can each get to 111 under this scenario (or you could flip it so Pitt/Carolina get 110 and Montreal gets 111). Either way, that means that the max is 110.

So our magic number is now 11. So close.

That Boston game's gonna be tough. Back-to-backs to finish off a busy month, and, to go along with the usual target on our backs, we somewhat embarrassed Boston in last year's playoffs, so you know they're looking at this as a measuring stick game.

I believe tomorrow night is our first clinching scenario. If we win, and Columbus and Montreal both lose in regulation, we will clinch.
