Thanks everyone, Dahlin as a Sabre is the best present I've had in a long time. Still go back and watch the lottery and draft videos to make sure it's real.
Thanks for the post Fenway! Thanks for all the thanks! Thanks to all the Sabres fans on here who enjoyed the posts/tweets that I posted here. Finally thanks to MacOfNiagara and Sabres Alumni Marty Biron for sharing August 15 with me!
As for my birthday day on Wednesday, ending up being just another day as plans to celebrate my birthday and one of my cousins kids birthday (who was born on August 14 - just an hour or so before August 15 thus I almost shared a birthday with him - which would have been very cool!) on Wednesday fizzled out due to other commitments by others in the family. We had the celebration yesterday and I received a couple of $50 checks. Going to use the money towards a new Sabres jersey.
