If we get any version of playoff Bob, Caps should win in < 7.

If we get reg season Bob it will be a struggle, but Caps could still win it if Grubi or Holts plays well.
GO CAPS !

Holts has played 4 games against the Jackets this year. 2 outstanding games, one average game, and one awful game where he gave up 4 goals on 20 shots and was pulled. Grubauer has only faced the Jackets in relief that one time and posted a 1.000 save percentage.

I think you go Gruby here but Holtby hasn't been bad against them.

I'd go with Holtby but on a short leash.

The good news is that Columbus has ranked in the bottom 6 power play percentage all season, less than 16%, the bad news is that they've made it this far based on even strength play, something that matters come playoff time when the refs put away the whistle. Torts will have his team working hard, forechecking and taking away scoring chances, blocking shots and finishing checks. Transition and puck movement works in Caps favor, getting frustrated works in theirs. Caps in 6.

everyone?
According to the poll I think it was 78% when I last looked. You know exactly where I am going. There are a lot of Trotz haters here. No matter how the team plays a lot of fans here want to burn him at the stake. We could win the cup and guys would still be asking for his head.

Anyone that thinks Holtby won't be in net and DSP and Chaisson won't be in the lineup game one is delusional.

Make me look like an idiot Barry, please.

I won't be surprised either. The man is scared to death of anything new a.k.a risky. Safety first and last.
